Xbox Series X will cost $499, launches on November 10th alongside Xbox Series S — report By Sean Carey, 08 Sep 2020 CommentsAccording to a new report, the Xbox Series X will cost $499 and will launch on November 10th alongside the now official Xbox Series S. Both consoles will also be available to purchase via the Xbox All Access programme. Sources told Windows Central that the Xbox Series X will be priced at $499, and although this remains unconfirmed by Microsoft, the outlet seems confident that this is the correct price. This report correctly revealed the cost of the Xbox Series S before the official announcement from Microsoft, so although the Xbox Series X price is only a rumour, it's a strong one.Windows Central also states that both consoles will be available on November 10th, and they can be purchased through the Xbox All Access programme. The Xbox Series S will reportedly cost $25 per month, and the Xbox Series X a rumoured $35 per month. It's currently unknown whether an Xbox Game Pass subscription will be bundled in with the finance options, although it probably will be considering its inclusion with the current Xbox One deal. Xbox boss Phil Spencer previously said that Xbox All Access will be "critical" for the launch of Xbox Series X. Now we've had the price and official announcement for the Xbox Series S and a leak that seemingly confirms the second next-gen consoles specs, the only thing left to reveal officially is the cost of the Xbox Series X and the launch dates of the two consoles. Until Microsoft confirms anything, this report from Windows Central should only be treated as a rumour, but it sure does look convincing.Xbox Series XRumour Written by Sean CareySean joined the team as a Staff Writer for both TrueAchievements and TrueTrophies in 2019.
