Immortals Fenyx Rising potential release date leaks via Microsoft Store

Immortals Fenyx Rising, the game formerly known as Gods & Monsters, has had a possible release date leaked by the Microsoft Store. According to the now-removed store listing, Immortals Fenyx Rising will launch on December 3rd and leverages Smart Delivery tech, meaning you can play the game on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X after purchasing it only once.

The store page also revealed more details about the game and several new screenshots (via IGN). The mythological adventure is set in an open world that's made up of seven unique regions. You'll take on the role of Fenyx, "a new, winged demigod, on a quest to save the Greek gods." Playing as Fenyx, you'll wield the powers of the gods, including Achilles' sword and Daidalos' wings, to battle mythological beasts such as Cyclops and Medusa, both in the air and on the ground. When you're not taking down enemies with skills and weapons such as self-guided arrows and telekinesis, you'll be solving ancient puzzles.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is also Smart Delivery enabled. Purchasing the game on Xbox One automatically entitles you to an Xbox Series X copy when it becomes available. The store listing also mentioned that those who pre-ordered the title will receive the bonus quest, A Tale of Fire and Lightning.

More on Immortals Fenyx Rising will be shown at the next Ubisoft Forward event on September 10th.
